Tips for

Using Essential Oil

Easy Inhalation

Place 1-2 drops of essential oil on a tissue or cotton pads. Place the tissue several inches from your nose and inhale. You may also open the essential oil bottle cap and hold it up close to nose and enjoy the scent and aroma.

Steam Inhalation

Boil 2 cups of water. Pour the water into a bowl and add 1-4 drops of oil to the water. Place your nose about inch away from the bowl and inhale. Do not inhale the steam constantly and if you notice any irritation or discomfort, stop immediately.

Apply to Skin

To enjoy the aromatherapy with applying essential oil on skin, you need to dilute the essential oil with adding a few drops of essential oil into a carrier oil or lotion before applying to your skin. You may also enjoy an aromatherapy massage with your diluted essential oil.

Use in a bath

Aromatic baths can provide relief from stress, anxiety, or muscle pains, but great care must be taken when using essential oils at bathtime. Do not add essential oils directly to bathwater. Essential oils do not stay mixed with water, using a solubilizer such as Polysorbate 20 or Solubol is strongly recommended.

Electronic Diffuser

Adding 2-5 drops of essential oil to diffusers will gently fill the air with the aroma and healing benefits of the essential oils.

Use an Oil Burner

Fill the bowl on the oil burner with water and add a few drops of your chosen essential oil. Underneath the bowl, position a lit candle. Once the candle is ignited, the heat warms the oil, so it transmits the scent before it eventually evaporates.
